Going Green


All unnecessary lights are switched off when not needed. Our external lighting and pool cleaner are on timers so as to not waste electricity. We also make use of LED lights

Cooling & Heating

Our guests are requested to only use power efficient air conditioning when necessary


Our meals are prepared on order and produced using a gas hob which is a more efficient way of cooking


We only switch on appliances when necessary. Where possible, we allow for all washing to be air dried on the clothes line so as not to use the tumble dryer


We recycle all our waste. The glass, paper and plastic is all separated and given to an authorized recycling company


Our perishable materials are used to generate a healthy compost for our semi indigenous water-wise garden

Pesticide Free

We feed our lovely garden birds and have created a haven for a variety of species. In turn, they feed on the insects and allow for our garden to be 100% pesticide free

Vegetable Garden

Our little vegetable garden, fueled by our compost heap, produces various greens for our guests
